1. Who is responsible for your data?

Carrera Web offers web-design and website-care services to businesses, including businesses in the United Kingdom and European Economic Area.

2. What information do we collect?

When you contact us through the website or by email, we may receive:

• your name;
• your business name and type;
• your email address or telephone number;
• the content of your enquiry and any information you choose to provide;
• technical information routinely recorded for security and delivery, such as IP address, device/browser information, timestamps and request logs.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.

3. Why and on what legal basis do we use it?

• To answer enquiries and prepare a free draft or quotation: steps requested before entering a contract and, where applicable, your consent.
• To provide agreed services and support: performance of our contract.
• To operate and protect the website: our legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention and service improvement.
• To keep legally required records: compliance with legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing without a separate lawful basis.

4. Who receives your information?

We share information only where needed with service providers that help us run the website and communications. The contact form and website are hosted by Netlify, which processes form submissions and technical logs on our behalf. Our email and IT providers may also process information to deliver and secure communications. Providers must protect the information and may use it only for the contracted service.

We may disclose information where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

5. International transfers

Carrera Web operates from Saudi Arabia and some technology providers may process information outside the UK or EEA. Where UK or EEA data-protection law applies, we use providers and transfer mechanisms intended to provide the safeguards required by that law, such as adequacy decisions or approved contractual clauses.

6. How long do we keep it?

• Enquiries that do not become client work: normally up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact.
• Client, contract and invoicing records: for the relationship and then for the period required by applicable tax, accounting and limitation rules, generally up to 6 years.
• Security logs: only for the period reasonably needed for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

We may keep information longer where a dispute, legal hold or statutory obligation requires it.

7. Your rights

Subject to the law that applies to you, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to processing, and may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email hola@carreraweb.es. We may need to verify your identity and will normally respond within one month where UK or EU GDPR applies.

You may complain to your local supervisory authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office; in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.

8. Cookies, local storage and embedded previews

This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores your language choice in your browser’s local storage; this is a functional preference and is not used to track you across websites.

Portfolio previews embed client websites, including Excavaciones JLM and Ludoteca Menuts. Loading a preview can cause your browser to connect directly to that website and its hosting providers, which may receive technical request information. You can block embedded content using browser privacy controls.

If non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies are added later, this policy and the site’s consent controls must be updated before they are enabled.

9. Security, children and changes

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet transmission is completely secure. This business-to-business website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect children’s data.

We may update this policy when the website, providers or legal requirements change. The current date will always appear at the top.

2. ¿Qué información recogemos?

Cuando contactas mediante la web o por email, podemos recibir:

• el nombre y tipo de tu negocio;
• tu email o número de teléfono;
• el contenido de tu consulta y la información que decidas facilitar;
• información técnica registrada para seguridad y prestación del servicio, como dirección IP, dispositivo/navegador, fecha, hora y registros de solicitudes.

No envíes contraseñas, datos de tarjetas ni información sensible innecesaria mediante el formulario.

3. ¿Para qué y con qué base jurídica la usamos?

• Responder consultas y preparar un borrador gratuito o presupuesto: medidas precontractuales solicitadas y, cuando corresponda, tu consentimiento.
• Prestar los servicios y soporte acordados: ejecución del contrato.
• Operar y proteger la web: interés legítimo en seguridad, prevención del fraude y mejora del servicio.
• Conservar registros obligatorios: cumplimiento de obligaciones legales, fiscales y contables.

No vendemos datos personales ni usamos los datos de una consulta para marketing no relacionado sin una base jurídica independiente.

4. ¿Quién recibe la información?

Solo compartimos información cuando es necesario con proveedores que permiten operar la web y las comunicaciones. El formulario y la web están alojados por Netlify, que procesa envíos y registros técnicos por cuenta de Carrera Web. Los proveedores de email y sistemas también pueden tratar información para entregar y proteger las comunicaciones. Deben protegerla y usarla únicamente para el servicio contratado.

Podemos comunicar información cuando lo exija la ley o para formular, ejercer o defender reclamaciones.

5. Transferencias internacionales

Carrera Web opera desde Arabia Saudí y algunos proveedores tecnológicos pueden tratar información fuera del Reino Unido o del EEE. Cuando sea aplicable la normativa británica o europea, se utilizan proveedores y mecanismos destinados a ofrecer las garantías exigidas, como decisiones de adecuación o cláusulas contractuales aprobadas.

6. ¿Durante cuánto tiempo la conservamos?

• Consultas que no se convierten en trabajo: normalmente hasta 12 meses desde el último contacto relevante.
• Registros de clientes, contratos y facturas: durante la relación y después por el plazo exigido por las normas fiscales, contables y de prescripción aplicables, generalmente hasta 6 años.
• Registros de seguridad: solo durante el tiempo razonablemente necesario para seguridad, diagnóstico y prevención de abusos.

Podemos conservar información durante más tiempo si existe una controversia, una obligación de bloqueo o un deber legal.

7. Tus derechos

Según la normativa que te resulte aplicable, puedes solicitar acceso, rectificación, supresión, limitación, portabilidad u oposición, y retirar tu consentimiento en cualquier momento sin afectar al tratamiento previo. Puedes reclamar ante tu autoridad de control. En Reino Unido: Information Commissioner’s Office. En España: Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.

8. Cookies, almacenamiento local y vistas previas

Actualmente la web no utiliza cookies publicitarias ni analíticas. Guarda la preferencia de idioma en el almacenamiento local del navegador; es una función técnica y no se usa para seguirte entre sitios.

El portfolio integra vistas previas de webs de clientes, incluidas Excavaciones JLM y Ludoteca Menuts. Al cargarlas, el navegador puede conectarse directamente con esas webs y sus proveedores, que pueden recibir información técnica de la solicitud. Puedes bloquear el contenido integrado desde los controles de privacidad del navegador.

Si en el futuro se añaden analítica, publicidad u otras tecnologías no esenciales, esta política y los controles de consentimiento se actualizarán antes de activarlas.

9. Seguridad, menores y cambios

Aplicamos medidas técnicas y organizativas razonables, aunque ninguna transmisión por internet es totalmente segura. Esta web está dirigida a empresas, no a menores, y no recogemos conscientemente datos de menores.

Podemos actualizar la política si cambian la web, los proveedores o los requisitos legales. La fecha vigente aparecerá siempre en la cabecera.
